“ Digital Art Pin Cushion Wildflowers Blood Red on Black”
This is one of my favorites. I love the deep blood red of the natural stems on the white pincushion flowers, so I incorporated that same red into the background. The technique makes the photograph appear to burst from the ebony background.
This image looks best printed on black or dark backgrounds.
Photograph taken at the Coachella Valley Wildlife Preserve April 2019. This preserve is located on a large desert oasis fed by springs penetrating through the San Andreas Fault line.
