"Coachella Valley Preserve Big Letter" This wonderful piece was created using several of my fine art photographs taken at the Coachella Valley Preserve. This amazing wildlife preserve covers 20,000 acres and includes an oasis in the middle of the parched desert landscape. The oasis is due to the San Andreas Fault line that runs through it. Water bubbles up through the cracks in the fault to create this amazing reprieve for the wildlife living here in the desert.

Born in Holmen, Wisconsin, Colleen Cornelius? work draws inspiration from her early childhood experiences growing up in a rural town. A one room general store with creaky wooden floors, tire swings attached by frayed rope to oak trees, and pale gold hay bales laid across contrasting green pastures are all a thing of the past to Colleens once cozy hometown. These days the town has grown almost ten-fold, and the old general store has since become a distant memory.
